Lester L. Baker

Lester L. Baker passed away July 15, 2015 in Dayton, Oregon.
Lester was born in Lafayette, Oregon, along with his twin brother, Chester, on May 18, 1935, to parents Chester C. and Omega D. Baker. The brothers remained extremely close throughout life. He grew up in Lafayette and graduated from McMinnville High School in 1953.
Lester was a Korean War Veteran. He lived and spent his working years in the McMinnville area, retiring from Rex Mobile Homes as a Supervisor in 1984, and from Oregon Steel Mills in 1997. He retired to LaPine, Oregon, where he was able to pursue his love of the great outdoors; fishing and hunting.
Lester was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Omega Baker, his brother, William, and his sister, Blanche Williamson Hackworth.
He is survived by his brother, Chester L. Baker of McMinnville, sons, Lester Scott Baker of Newberg and William Daniel (Bill) Baker of McMinnville, daughters, Juli M. Sauer of McMinnville and Robin K. Baker of McMinnville, ten grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
