Johnnie Belle Bainter

was born May 27, 1928 in Sheridan, Oregon.
She lived all her life on Tindle Creek Road outside of Willamina. She attended Fendall School and was a graduate of Willamina High School. As a young woman, Johnnie Belle worked for Lincoln Bank in Willamina for several years and helped to establish branches in Taft (Lincoln City) and Depoe Bay. Later she was a successful Avon representative in the Willamina/Grand Ronde areas for more than 35 years. She was an active member of St. Michaels Catholic Church and the Fendall Community Club. She devoted most of her life to raising her family and caring for her home with her husband of 66 years, Robert Bainter.


She is preceded in death by her parents Arthur & Mollie Haenny, her brothers and sister, and her infant children, Debbie and Teddy Bainter.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Bainter, children Robin and Don Feltman, Lori and Bob Seymour, Tim and Anne Bainter, Janine Bainter, and Colette and Bart Bryant. She has 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Johnnie Belle Bainter passed away at the age of 86 years, 11 months and 23 days.
